Marie Boland confirmed as keynote speaker for the National Mental Health and Wellbeing at Work Show
The National Mental Health and Wellbeing at Work Show is delighted to announce that Marie Boland, CEO of Safe Work Australia, has been confirmed as a keynote speaker for the 2026 event.

As one of Australia’s leading voices on workplace health and safety policy, Marie brings extensive experience across government, regulation and organisational leadership. Her work has played a major role in shaping the national conversation around psychologically safe workplaces and the responsibilities organisations have to protect the mental health and wellbeing of their people.
At this year’s show, Marie will share insights into the evolving landscape of psychosocial health and safety, including the growing expectations on employers, the role of leadership in creating mentally healthy workplaces, and the practical steps organisations can take to move from policy to meaningful cultural change.
Her keynote comes at a critical time for Australian workplaces, with senior leaders, HR professionals and wellbeing teams under increasing pressure to respond to rising levels of burnout, psychological injury and workforce fatigue, while also building environments where employees can thrive.

The National Mental Health and Wellbeing at Work Show brings together CEOs, Senior Executives, HR leaders, wellbeing professionals and workplace culture experts from across Australia to explore the strategies, policies and innovations shaping the future of work.
Marie’s participation further strengthens the event’s focus on practical leadership, evidence-based policy and creating safer, healthier and more inclusive workplaces.
The full event Agenda is set to be announced in September, but you can find out more about the show’s conference stages and activities here.
